I quit my stable, successful STEM career 10 years ago, at the top of my game I was done with being surrounded by middle aged white men (ironic coming from me, I know), in a working world that wasn’t focused on equality and progressive thinking.
Jokes about women in the workplace were the norm, and promotions were based on gender and shared interests, rather than on genuine ability. No compassion, no awareness of change.
And yet the women in my world were making incredible moves, bringing so much to the table, and still feeling undervalued. It’s a story we hear time and time again, and I knew I had to be an advocate for change.
In 2018, I went all in on coaching, with the mission of supporting as many women as possible to not only land the role of their dreams, but to thrive in it to.
Now, as a trusted advisor to executives at Nestle, [company] and [company], I spend my days supporting powerful women with what I learnt from my own success, and making positive change. Working with women who are ready to take ACTION and build their dream career.
Recent data tells us that women hold only 10% of CEO positions in Fortune 500 companies.
Yep, you read that right.
The factors are endless. But the reality is – as a woman – your career is already drastically harder than your male colleagues. Even though it’s been proven that women are more empathetic, strategic and steady as leaders.
Is the inequality fair? Absolutely not.
Should we accept it? Not on my watch.
I’ll show you how to beat those odds, and succeed not in spite of your gender, but BECAUSE of it
Women are still facing endless issues in the workplace, and honestly, I’ve had enough. I can’t change the world, but with over 25 years working in and leading STEM teams, I can sure as hell help you navigate the corporate jungle . Working with me is about having someone in your corner to draw all of those brilliant goals out of you, form them into a clear plan, and make it happen.
